Saturday 9th May saw club instuctor Chris Whyte travel to Killarney, in Southern Ireland , to conduct a free sparring fighting course, at the invite of the FSKD karate group. The well attended course ran for 2 hard hours with Chris demonstrating various fighting techniques and explaning fight preperation etc.

The Cowdenbeath club have developed close links with this progressive karate group over the last few years and each attend tournaments at each side of the water !FSKD club instructors Nill Wright and sensie Danillo both attended the fighting course applying maximum effort throughout as an excellent example to all their students.

Also on the course was sensie Gordon Maxwell who commented " Chris ran an excellent and informative fighting course which was enjoyed by all students young and old and we would like to thank everyone at the FSKD who made our trip a great expereince and the tremendous hospitality shown to us throughout the weekend by all our friends in Southern Ireland . After witnessing the ability of the students, on this course, there is no doubt future Irish Champions will be coming from this karate association "
