Tei Fighting Fit

Tei fighting fit is a martial arts based fitness program aimed at adults male and female (over 16) who wish to improve their fitness levels and learn some self-defence.

I combine 20 years experience in traditional and sports karate, kickboxing and groundwork to produce a unique and challenging approach to fitness.

All the classes are run by me, Neil Maxwell

There are many other types of programs available in other fitness centres, however many of these lack a fully trained martial arts instructor.

We have all levels of fitness at the club and only ask that you commit to trying.


Wednesday 7:30 – 8:30

  • 15 Minutes Warm up and Stretch
  • 15 Minutes Combinations and Basics
  • 15 Minutes Pad work and Kick Shield
  • 10 Minutes Sit ups and Push ups
  • 5 Minutes Warm Down

Fridays 7:30 – 8:30

  • 20 Minutes Warm up and Stretch
  • 30 Minutes Circuit Training (punch bag, skipping, weights and medicine ball work)
  • 10 Minutes Exercises and Warm down
